Well, I wouldn't get behind Wenger if he has signed on for two more years. If he has, it is self centred and not in the best interests of the club. I have said time and again on here how grateful I am for Arsene, how he should be treated with respect and dignity, but there is not a single good reason why he should be retained any longer. And don't give me the "be careful what you wish for" argument. All clubs change their manager and it doesn't mean none of them become successful again. Witness Chelsea just for an obvious and simple example.
It's not just Arsene that needs changing, of course. The players need to recognise their responsibilities, as does the Board and the major shareholder/ owner.

Banbury agree with you there. Sadly not everyone will. However surely the board can see its just not working and as with this season any slip up with arsene a lot of fans will be staight on his back.
Also agree with derby. going to be even tougher to keep him after the next few games if it goes wrong.

Max! We Don't have a clue what's going on behind the scenes! What if they can't get target X, Y and Z? Are we going to have an interim manager a caretaker or someone who isn't up for the job until the right man is available?
There's a few managers I would like! Allegri, tuchel, jardim, sampoili! If these ain't available in the summer and are in a years time then stick with Wenger! If he's staying then that's because the right man isn't there not because he's self centered!
But if that man isn't there then I blame the board and it's poor from upstairs! To be fair max I like your posts and this is the first one that I disagree with. I want change but it can't be knee jerk stuff matey.

Max, the fans will get behind someone they trust. I think a lot of fans don't trust wenger and wont. Just my opinion.

The whole we can't get a world class manager argument for me is silly. Im hearing wenger been offered 10million a year may be wrong. But offer that to allegri he will come imo.
If he hasn't signed by man city game I think he's gone. Any truth in fact there's been a huge fall out. Gazidis dick law etc. Seems to be friction behind the scenes.

I haven't seen anyone suggesting that any manager would be better than Wenger, and you can hardly call the fans wanting a fresh start tactically after 5 years of watching us play like boys against men in most of the big games in the last 5 years a knee jerk reaction!
There are 5 or 6 very good candidates for the job that would in my opinion get at least some of our less effective players performing at a far greater level than Wenger ever will again and that's even before you add fresh players to the mix, if you were to offer the amount that the board are purportedly putting on the table for Wenger to sign again you can't tell me even our 1st or 2nd choice wouldn't jump at the chance.
