Rg you have actually said something I agree with. Henry and keown should replace wenger until the end of the season. Its not about tactics, buying the right players or how many trophies a manager has won. From now to the end of the season its about lifting the gloom and apathy from the place and injecting confidence. For ten weeks we have nothing to loose with bringing some enthusiasm back from henry and keown. We need some impetus and something to get the crowd going again and something like that is what could give us a well needed boost and different perspective.

I agree. Wenger is now the rotten apple in the basket. The longer he stays, the faster the rot of the other apples.

I totally disagree anyone should come in to replace Arsene before May, let's give him a hero's send off win lose or draw.
We are as unlikely to make too 4 with an interim manager as we are with Arsene and an ex player no matter how popular doesn't guarantee an upturn in results look at Alan Shearer at Newcastle and hero's don't come much bigger than him.
There is no need to rush Arsene out the door imo May is the right time to part company in the most respectful way left open to us now.
Again IMO but things have been allowed to go further downhill than they should have been but i see no point in going from one extreme to the other.

I agree 62 Wenger has as much chance of turning this around as anyone but I still believe he will manage us next season.

I posted a few weeks back that i thought Arsene might try and go for a 1 year contract as a way of keeping the hostility towards him staying to a minimum Banbury mate and i still think that's the most likely scenario.

I don't think he's going to walk away now or even in years time but i do think he sees that in a years time he might be able to win people back over to him, personally i think he will end up having to be forced out by the club either this summer or at some stage next season which is sad.

I thought wenger could do a job but from what I am seeing, it and he is a lost cause now. Im not sentimental anymore just arsenal focused. Wenger for me has tarnished all he has done good gor this club and as I can see can only do more damage.

Gunner if he decides to give himself another year, arsenal football club will never recover and we will become West hams nearest challengers.

Steve my personal choice would be Arsene leaving in the summer but what i think will happen is he will be allowed another season because no one wants to push him out but he won't finish next season simply because his position will become totally untenable.

At least 50% of fans want change and at least 50% of the players look like they feel the same way too and the media are going to milk this situation for all it's worth and more.

We will recover mate no question about that, we may have to mix it in the lower top half or mid-table next season if Arsene stays but we will bounce back extremely quickly when change finally arrives.

For Arsene things look totally impossible now but for Arsenal it's a case of when not if we challenge again, we are still a big club and unlike Leeds and Portsmouth our troubles aren't financial just on field.
