Picking up from a good post earlier from Maze what would people prefer, Kronke staying in control but Wenger moving on, or Red and White holdings getting control (Usmanov) bringing in David Dein but resulting in Wenger signing a new 2 year contract?

Agree0 Disagree0

Wenger going and kronke staying.

21 Feb 2017 02:01:27
Steve if you are upset now, wait until Kronke's record of mediocrity gets fully absorbed into the Arsenal. I am deeply concerned.

21 Feb 2017 02:29:34
Who mentioned upset, I answered a question. Ideally both gone as I've said before but that wasn't the question. David dein was yesterday and it isn't going to happen anyway. I want to move forward not back anyway.

Kronke out since he's been the owner are team has gone down hill i'm not saying i want wenger 2 stay but would like 2 see what he would do with different owners. I respect everything he's done n think he deserves better from us as fans.

21 Feb 2017 02:46:43
Kronke don't care about arsenal football club he cares about arsenal the money maker n u want him 2 stay! wenger maybe a nightmare but he loves arsenal.

Wenger with DD

DD left 10 years ago, look what's happened in the last 10 years.

21 Feb 2017 10:03:18
I would like kronke to leave.

21 Feb 2017 13:56:37
I cannot understand how anyone would prefer Wenger gone than Kroenke.

21 Feb 2017 14:43:13
I was one of the first people to bring to the attention of this site the way kronke works and I got slaughtered by some of you, so I have to chuckle. But whatever we would prefer ( and I would prefer both gone ) kronke will be here longer than wenger, so all irrelevant really anyway.

21 Feb 2017 16:23:48
If Stan the man left and Arsene stayed what would change?
It isn't lack of money that's preventing us improving so I fail to see how things would improve under Arsene's management. There is and has been money available Arsene hasn't and doesn't want to spend for a few seasons now so I can't see how kronke is the problem.

21 Feb 2017 16:53:48
Gunner i'm with you, not a lot really. We know the both of thems strength and weaknesses.

21 Feb 2017 18:04:57
That's a good point. But isn't it also a possibility arsene is trying to target better players and the board or whoever isn't getting the negotiating done properly. Probably not but I'm sure we don't know the full picture.

21 Feb 2017 18:19:54
For us to compete we need usmanov to take control, sadly it's about money now.

21 Feb 2017 18:17:37
Steve,
I just don't get how Stan Kroenke gets all the blame for Arsene's obvious weaknesses, what's he done to prevent us being competitive?
Does he love Arsenal? It doesn't look that way but that doesn't mean he's to blame for our lack of progression.

Does Carl Jenkinson love Arsenal? Yes he's a life long Gooner
Does Alexis Sanchez love Arsenal or football full stop?

If he leaves this summer it looks like football means more to him than Arsenal but that doesn't prevent him giving head and shoulders more effort than any player has in an Arsenal shirt for many a year.

Ty from Arsenal fan TV loves Arsenal with a passion no one can question that but does that qualify him to be Sanchez or Arsenes replacement? No of course it doesn't.

People are confusing passion and sentimentality with ability and a winning mentality, our next manager doesn't need to love Arsenal he just needs to be really good at his job and have real ambition to win top prizes with us.

21 Feb 2017 19:23:19
Kroenke is a bad person to have at the club. He's not motivated to win, only to maximise his profits. Look at the clubs he's taken over in America and how poor they've been since his tenure at those teams.

Also for someone with such major sporting connections in America, and particularly the NFL, how is it Tottenham have managed to scoop such a lucrative deal with the NFL?

Usmanov might not be a saint but at least he wouldn't be concerned solely with lining his own pockets.

21 Feb 2017 19:46:32
If Kronke had said there is no money for transfers then I can see the argument against him but every source both within and outside the club has stated printed and verbally stated Arsene has the money available even Arsene himself has stated " just because we have lots of money available we won't be forced into paying above our own valuation of a player "
What do people want from an owner?
To buy players for Aresene? Pick and Motivate the team for him?
It's not off the field it's going wrong it's on the field we continue to under perform season after season and where our season doesn't last past February.
Kronke may not be the best bloke to own the club but I don't think he's anywhere near a viable scapegoat to replace the naughty naughty stadium excuse to cover Arswnes own inabilities.

21 Feb 2017 20:40:53
I think people forget, we bought sanchez, ozil and we spent 100 mil this summer. i'm not kronkes greatest fan but wenger has had money to spend. Why didn't we battle more for kante, why didn't we go for laccazette and why didn't we buy draxler. Not sure that was all kronkes fault. The players we got instead were wengers and he sets them up not kronke. Kronke trusts wenger and that's another debate.

21 Feb 2017 23:14:17
kroenke rarely attends arsenal matches what makes you think he cares about the club?

21 Feb 2017 22:58:49
I think that's a fair point Steve, Kronke hasn't really done anything to suggest he is any better or worse than most other team owners. However I don't trust him or the board to find a replacement for Arsene. I mean just how does a group of NFL specialists interview a new manager for the club. In that regards I would much rather DD came back into the fold.

22 Feb 2017 01:24:47
Epping, you are mistaken. Kronke is a subpar owner, look at his clubs. Rams, Avalanche, Nuggets etc poor.

I would keep Wenger and add someone to light a 🔥 under his butt.
