Stoner I'm sort of on the same page as you mate and I get the point that you could point the finger at loads of sports.
But when my subscription keeps going up year after year and it goes to pay these people ridiculous money it sort of grates me. We are all trapped in the system of paying for TV now if you want to watch decent sport. My wife hates football she would be ok with free view but I'm trapped into paying over £100 a month because I want to watch footballl. Can't be right mate that's are contributing to people getting paid 100 grand a week plus can it?

Sadly fella it is, I'm a red member and get to games when I can, I'm on the season ticket waiting list and have both the football channels so yes it costs a fortune and I count myself fortunate that I can afford it. Some guys have all that and spend close to £400 going to a game like Bayern Munich with flights and stuff.
No I don't want to pay as much but ultimately it's the cost of loving football and our club.
Your right too, the wages are ridiculous but would anyone of us turn that down if we were fortunate enough to have the talent. Yes some you watch and think jeez how did you get a contract but again it's life.

I haven't stopped going to the cinema just because the star of the movie was paid a small fortune so I can't be angry at footballers for what they earn. I do think that wages earned by the current crop are probably going to peak and players of the future may not earn quite so much, especially if a few more clubs go under. Still Lansera, you don't need to pay Sly £100 per month if your past the initial 12 month contract. Just phone them and say you want to cancel and they will offer a deal for you to stay. Go for 6 months half price as a minimum.

I now refuse to pay. After my sky contract ends in a few months I switching over to a box that lets you stream sports for a monthly fee all the games 3pm in HD.
