As I said when we purchased Xhaka the bloke is a liability.

Agree2 Disagree8

He is a class midfielder. In 2 years time you won't be saying this.

10 Dec 2016 17:16:29
Lol

Why 2 years

How can you knock stupidity out of a player

He isn't a good player at all, he will get a ban for today's actions.

I watched Arsenal vs Stoke City and I was impressed with the Arsenal man in number 29 shirt. He gave away a penalty, he was clumsy, nothing malicious.

I like the speed of his passes and how quick he releases the ball and he has a very good long range passing ability.

He is the best man for the Santi role in this Arsenal team.

Someone else with a different opinion.

{Ed001's Note - please do not just copy and paste someone else's work without saying who wrote it and/or where you got it from. This is not a site for plagiarising other people's work.}

Agreed Ed001, that was from goal.com and it is a story that was made today:

Tuesday’s European away win at a freezing cold St-Jakob Park against Basel proved that Switzerland midfielder Granit Xhaka is ready to step up in place of Cazorla while he is out. Despite possessing many of the complete opposite traits to the 32-year-old, Xhaka’s unique passing abilities and tendency to break up play in key areas has already won him admirers from the north London faithful at Emirates Stadium.
Xhaka’s passing accuracy of 88 per cent and two chances created are a reminder of why Wenger brought him to Arsenal for £30 million this summer. He comes with a big reputation after captaining Borussia Monchengladbach in the Bundesliga and continues to improve and adapt to the Premier League with every game played.

{Ed001's Note - cheers.}

BG - his penalty today was harsh. Even Webb agrees

“It’s a coming together, there is some contact, for me I think it’s a harsh call and he’s really unlucky. ”

I get it you don't like Wenger and his decisions but are you just waiting to be proved right even if it harms our club rather than being proved wrong ( me with Sanchez up front ) and its positive for the club

🏆🏆🏆😉👍.

10 Dec 2016 18:36:38
you miss the point lol

forget the talent anyone has, if he spends his time suspended he isn't good to anyone, its not his talent its his hot headedness . catch up.

OK going by your view Patrick Vieira was a liability.

10 Dec 2016 19:05:10
Ireland - great point. Didn't he get sent off two games in a row at the start of one season and wasn't Kos a bit of a liability to begin with.

10 Dec 2016 19:18:25
I was at the match today and was shocked at your comment regarding Xhaka. I was so impressed with him, he ran the show and I love the way he plays gliding around spraying passes and intercepting opponents passes. A real class act.

10 Dec 2016 19:42:18
How can you be shocked at Banbury bringing negativity to the table. 😂😂😂.

10 Dec 2016 19:54:32
Red Dog - I don't know Banbury, but he is seriously wrong about Xhaka. I was really impressed with him today and Bellerin who was superb. I like Xhaka's passion, something we have missed since the days of Vieira and Petit.

10 Dec 2016 20:38:09
I should also add 69, Sky gave him a rating of just 5 today

hmmmmmmm.

10 Dec 2016 20:01:21
RG when did I say he was poor today?

He gave away a cheap penalty . on another day he could well have been sent off, there was no need .

Yes PV was a liability but we got away with it due to the abundance of talent that surrounded him

Great comment Red, your best yet boyo.

10 Dec 2016 20:18:12
69 Again you miss my point, where did I say he was poor?, I am saying about his disciplinary record, and its a fair comment, 7 red cards in 2 years, tell how my comment is unfair.

Its nothing to do with Wenger at all . Its a comment on the penalty awarded today.

10 Dec 2016 21:11:16
Stop digging Banbury, Sky can give him whatever they like. I was at the match and was very impressed with him and Bellerin. I love the fact that he won't be bullied. It makes such a difference to have 3 proper defensive midfield players. It wasn't that long ago that we had none!

10 Dec 2016 21:46:07
They say the truth always hurts Banbury. 😂😂.

10 Dec 2016 23:11:11
I was at the match rg69 and completely agree with you mate. He was good and he will really become a great signing. A little daft at times and goes crashing in but his overall play and determination is good. His range of passing is something that you don't usually get from a player in his possition. He has the ability to become a Michael carrick type of player. We often criticise our player for not having grit but I'd prefer him to be too gritty than a wet fart, I'm sure he's intelligent enough to be selective of when he chucks himself in. He also makes plenty of sneaky professional fouls and breaks the game up! If he utilises this little trick to an art he will be a midfield general.

11 Dec 2016 00:56:19
Banbury needs to get a grip seriously.

11 Dec 2016 01:40:16
Maybe if Banbury got himself to the emirates he would understand more rather than taking instruction from whatever app or site he got his information from. Unless he was there he would have to wait for MOTD to gain any visual info. And the MOTD pundits didn't slate him and talked about his potential . Get a grip you fifa/ pro evo legand!

11 Dec 2016 12:10:21
He's still adapting to the league. Viera and roy keane managed to get themselves into this sort of trouble regularly, everyone called it "midfield steel" then though.

I hear the point about him needing to be on the pitch to make a difference, but equally if he's breaking play down efficiently and offering us a technically competent option in midfield I'm all for it/ him.
