For me, all looking great. Loving Theo's work rate and desire. Can't wait for Danny, gab, olly etc all back so have increased options, rotation and competition.

there's only 2 things we need to address really:

1 - game plan c.
Currently plan a is high pressing and passing in opposition half.

B should be straight forward when olly and Danny back. An option to put higher balls in to mix up play.

I want to see a plan C. Drawing stubborn opponents into our half and then breaking quickly. Not really a counter, just not pressing so they all sit behind the ball. don't see it at the min. Am I missing something?

2 - CM. Santi/ Ramsey/ jack.
Santi nearest to leaving (end of season? ) . Try and extend? Would we lose Ramsey then (and he's backup for ozil) Do we rotate them? Is that the best position for Ramsey? Do we Let Santi leave to give Ramsey the chance? And does Jack compete with Ramsey when he's back?
Intrigued to know the plan. Any thoughts?

I like the sound of Plan C Jim.

Drawing a defensively set up team forward is a pretty tough thing to achieve if they are happy with the point they started off with, by far thd best way is to score a goal be it from long range or a piece of individual brilliance but once you've got a head they can sit back all they like if their happy to lose 1 0.

I think that's where a clever winger who can beat people with skills / tricks rather than just pace would add a lot of value e. g. A Pires or Overmars type of player.

Agree SY that bit of individual magic much like Bergkamp v Newcastle would do very nicely or Kanu v chelsea.
Xhaka from long range offers one option but we could do with another to unlock well drilled defences.

For me. Ramsey was outstanding few seasons ago. last season he was poor. so I am actually not looking forward to have him back. i know that i might get some hate for this, but his injury was best that could happened to us this season. i don't see place for him in starting 11.

Just like Hazard used to do for boring old Jose at Chelsea

Hazard would have been awesome

I think moving Sanchez centrally has allowed us to play Iwobi who keeps possession and offers more on the wing than Sanchez while Sanchez offers more up front than Giroud. However still not 100% sure Sanchez is a striker yet plus Iwobi will have a good few poor games due to his age.

I agree Slovak mate there doesn't look room for Aaron in our best 11, Le Coq or Xhaka next to Caz is a tough one to call, I know Xhaka would win a popularity contest amongst fans but Le Coq for me is absolutely excellent, Danny will push Iwobi and Theo for a place once he's fit but apart from that our best 11 picks its self right now.
If Ozil or Caz are unavailable then it's up to Aaron to somehow make it impossible for Arsene to leave him out when they are available, for me that's the way it should be.

Agree with g62's last point about Le Coq, he is excellent. Xhaka is rightly very popular and Elneny offers a lot too but you can't underestimate what Le Coq does for the team. For example, he was integral to us getting off to such a good start against Chelsea, before he got injured and subbed - he about left his heart on the pitch aha.

When Danny is back, I would put Sanchez on the wing again, his goal return is very good for us on the wing - if it ain't broke don't fix it.
