It is really strange that on an Arsenal sight, you are ridiculed or people disagree with you if you're being optimistic or if you try to think positive about our Club's chances. Why should an Arsenal fan label another gooner as deluded just because i happen to believe that we can win the league? .
Even on Arsenal fan TV the people who ridicule the Club get more airtime and are lauded as level headed, even though these people regurgitate the same thing over and over. So am deluded if i have hope that we can win the title and look forward to the ride ahead, while the person who constantly moans and throws in the towel after only 3 games is the one who is level headed? . There is something fundamentally wrong with that.
We have a chance this season, just like every other big side to win the league. We have a strong and big squad, we have quality and cover in every position.
Sorry for the rant but i get it that some fans have lost faith in Wenger's ability to win the title and they are justified. I just get riled up when they try and spoil it for the rest of us who believe, and label us deluded for believing that we have a chance.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion Positive mate wether it's optimistic pessimistic or realistic is for others to decide.
Personally I find it bizarre that people are predicting big things for a 27 year od player they have never seen play and never even heard of a couple of weeks ago and find it even more bizarre that they get upset when people who won't agree with thier excitement without foundation and dismiss them as being negative.
To each their own mate and if we all agreed on everything all the time what would there be to discuss?

It's not the differing opinion so much as the bitter negativity of some who must just spend their whole life moaning.
I further have not seen anyone believing that Perez will be the next big thing but simply getting behind a player who now plays for Arsenal.
I personally think the more negative posters have no real argument just bitterness because they hate Wenger and that's invariably what they spout.
But like you say 62, each to there own, if that's how they chose to support the players, team and manager, good luck to them.

Positive and 62 - you both bring up great points and I would hate a site where everyone agrees. I like being challenged and I like reading different opinions.
There are negative posters who just moan about Wenger about everything to nothing. He's wrong if he does or wrong if he doesn't. They don't contribute at all but they are entitled to their views
On Perez - he has a lot of skills we need. Wenger has been chasing him a while, other clubs also. He knows where the net is and based on a number of experts, he sounds like he will score goals and give us a plan A or B.
Even Malaga likes him and he hates Wenger

G62 mate I Understand that mate and I Agree with you on Everything . I don't think people are predicting big things for Perez, I think we are hoping for big things from him and some are more optimistic than Others. What is wrong about Hoping that an Arsenal Player does well?

Red dog and call me positive just remember who told you so lol when your dreams end up in smoke lol. That feeling of I told you so is what puts some people's emotions back together "we didn't win the league but at least I was right" or "my team don't win but I know more about the game than others".
I don't personally understand anyone who doesn't get behind the team and they are a different type of supporter than me. I like hearing alternive opinions but only once not repeated every other post. But that's my opinion and I think I've said it at least 5 times now lol.

Completely agree, yes opinions will differ but like you say there are different breeds of supporters, some get behind the team and some can't wait for us to fail so they can be right.

Yes agree with you all there are some really shallow people on here who can't respect peoples opinions and don't think people might think different to them. Like I say respect opinion but you don't have to agree.
