What are most important things a club needs to sign a player, ranked in order.
1. Money.
2. Ambition.
3. Current Manager.
4. Style of play.
5. History of the club.
6. Previous league positions (in champions league or not) .
7. Quality of the league.

After money and possibly ambition, I'd say location is pretty important. Considering how many players are now "imports" from abroad, moving to a a big city can make a huge difference. London is actually so appealing to a lot of foreign players - doesn't quite explain how we make signing players so tough for ourselves, does it?
