I think our transfer windows are just depressing. We get linked with all these amazing players but never get them, like Mahrez Benzema Vardy Lacazette etc. Yes we've made some good signings like cech and xhaka but we have the money to get better ones. Imo we were lucky to get cech. He's a Chelsea legend. Only came to us because he didn't want to leave London and was desperate for game time. If Chelsea tried to resign him and promised him a starting spot he would probably leave within a heartbeat. Xhak is good and has potential but currently he's nowhere near as good as we could have got. Look at Kante for instance Chelsea signed him for the same price as xhaka. I think we could have easily got him if we battled for him as we can offer champions league. Holding is good for the future but we need to wrap this mustafi deal up now before it's too late. And Finalyl Perez, he had a great season in la Liga but can he repeat it in a much harder league. I'm honesty not convinced because no one really knows much about him.

Nobody knew much about Mahrez, or Kante, or Payet.

I have watched Perez quite a bit
he has good technical ability, he quick and can play across the front line
he will be a good signing.

It amazes me the amount of negativity on here. If we didn't go in most you lot moaning that we didn't go in for him.

Come on guys if Malaga thinks he's going to be a good signing i'd be hopeful not being sarcastic or anything, I would of expected an arsene out comment in regards to the perez deal but i'm a bit hopeful never watched him but i'm feeling optomistic btw not a dig or sarcasm in any form.

We bought soldado who was the third highest finisher in Spain every year and he flopped big time, apart from Barcelona and the two Madrid clubs la liga is weak with very poor teams.

First time poster here. Been surfing this site for some time. Though I can understand the frustration, I cannot understand the negativity. Based on what I have seen on here, the club cannot do anything right. It's one thing to point out the issues in the club, we are all entitled to that, but criticising absolutely everything just makes us look like a bunch of moaners.
If we take a look at the signings what has been the core attributes of the signings made - Leadership and size. Xhaka, Mustafi, and holding are all over 6 ft, while Mustafi and Xhaka are captains of their respective clubs. We have been lacking these qualities for some time now. They may not be world class but they are 23, 24 and 20. Give them a fight chance. Players like leroy Sane, Gabriel barbosa, John stones - are they world class, hell no - not yet at least. So are they better than our signings cause they cost more? . Don't judge a player based on their price tag, of all people, I thought arsenal fans would understand that!
