Now that it has been confirmed we made a bid for lacazette and that lyon turned it down, do we have anyone to blame other than ourselves? strikers go for 40-50 million pounds why didn't wenger make a serious offer? If we go into the season with giroud as our main striker, we can kiss top four goodbye.

What all strikers go for 40-50 million! This page is turning into a complete asylum . Everybody remember fever pitch? Is it just Arsenal fans that behave like queens. God let's get a grip.

Well I was bored with top 4 chasing anyway :-) top 1 sounds much more interesting and fun while in most sports 4th doesn't even make the podium.

Cause we don't have the free cash to spend that much without selling players. Arsenal are not prepared to make a financial loss so to me it seems we have about 50 Mill approx. transfer cash surplus each main summer window to make purchases. Hence why we can now only make one big signing a window
So with 30Mill spend on Xhaka this leaves about 20-25mill (tops) is our limit hence why It was Vardy or bust as our striker buy. We will not get any decent striker for that sort of 20-25mill mark in this inflated market certainly no better than we have. So Wenger's only Option was Vardy as he was the best on offer for that price despite his age.
