hi ed. considering the injury situation and fitness issues (due euro, copa) arsenal currently look short in two deparments. i. e striker and CB. i have two questions-
1. if we fail to land the high profile striker/ winger (aubameyang, dybala, mahrez) . will arsene wenger then go for grade-B striker (lacazette, chicharito) .
2. Do you see a CB signing. because we only have Gabirel, Holding and Chambers available for opening few games.
{Ed041's Note - arsenal have needed those departments improved for many seasons, why is this year any different? If I had to guess (but I will ask the other eds when there about) I'd say your most likely signing would be one of Mahrez/Lacazette. As for CB there had been no news given. But I will ask.

I would bite your arm off for Mahrez or Lacazette.
If we get both (needed but highly unlikely) , than this would be a massive upgrade on what we have.

Just for the sake of getting a striker, I would prefer Lacazette but I would love to get Mahrez he is sensational.

I wouldn't say Lacazette is grade B. As a rival fan I'd be much happier seeing Giroud in your line up than Lacazette and there's no chance you'll get Dybala.

We need a striker but Mahrez is a huge upgrade over anything we have on the right wing.
{Ed041's Note - who gets dropped? Santi? Ramsey? Xhaka? Sanchez, Ozil? I think your stocked enough in midfield.

Wilshere will probably get injured in first game of season and will be out until January.
I would play Sanchez/ Mahrez/ Ozil/ Xhaka and alternate Cazorla and Ramsey and use Elneny and Coq as cover.
We do have a midfield overload, but in terms of a RW, Mahrez is untouchable.
