Furious about the fact that we missed out on Benatia.

Wenger and Team do not know how to conduct themselves in the modern transfer window.

{Ed002's Note - Arsenal did not miss out - it was absolutely nothing to do with teh club at all - there were only two clubs he was interested in and Juve was one.}

Agree0 Disagree0

I just think this would have been a good signing and I don't get why Wenger didn't consider it.

YEs, there are some question marks over injuries, but this is a CLASS defender. Loan with option to buy would have been idea.

{Ed002's Note - He would not have been interested in Arsenal at all.}

Some movement happening on defenders front in Italy.
Juan Jesus to Roma
Benatia to Juve (Does thius mean Bonucci goes to CITY? )

CBs Arsenal can try for:
1. LOAN: Daniele Rugani
2. BUY: Monolas (Although Juan Jesus might be to replace Rudiger)

how people can blame Wenger when a player goes to another club is a joke.
THIS IS NOT FOOTBALL MANAGER

Ed said that we were not even a consideration for the player so how did we miss out and how is this wengers fault?

If a player was saying I WANT TO PLAY FOR ARSENAL and we needed a player in that position and he would add quality to arsenal and we still missed out on him for not paying the transfer quoted or haggling over 2 k in wagers then yes that would be a huge mistake.

we all want the top player and we want to transfer but let's a least keep the Wenger and arsenal bashing realistic.

{Ed001's Note - now now, this is no place for being sensible. You know after every signing is announced by another team you all have to run around tearing your hair out and screaming abuse at Wenger for not signing them.}

cant blame him, juve have rebuilt in tremendous fashion, and that core team looks lethal.

they will surely make 200 odd million from dybala and pogba when its time to cash in, but as a team i think they are up there with the spanish 2 and the german giants.

Look fair point that The player didn;t want to come, there is nothing to do about that.

I agree it's not football manager and equally it's not a suoermarket as Wenger described.

That said, typically you build a shortlist of affordable and potentially available players and then go for them. The frustration comes because Arsenal's transfers always seem long and painful. Xhaka through to Arshavin, it's been this way for a while.

Juve have a good knack of buying low and selling high without too much risk of not winning serie a.

haha ed001 maybe i was a little to sensible ( makes a change)

and billybob was not being harsh as i do share your frustration at our usual summer dealings, there seem s t have been many over the years that seemingly want to come and we did not get over the line.

but let's stay positive, he has addressed an area we have been week in and we are to believe that there will be 3 first team i think i heard some where so let's give a bit more time, OZIL was last day, and maybe its waiting on that 1 deal to go through somewhere before there is a little merry go round.

{Ed001's Note - I am sure it will never happen again!}
