Andy I know you're question was directed at the Eds but mate he's not supposed to be the answer to our immediate striking problem as was Bielik never going to walk straight into the team as our DM they are both for the but people get over excited about everyone we sign which I guess is down to lack things to get excited about.

I can see why your fans go mad at the arsenal board, Utd Chelsea, city, Liverpool are buying top quality and your owners go for the cheap and make money deals, even spurs owners are in Italy right now talking to icardi for 38 million, you are one of the richest clubs in England but must also be one of tightest clubs also.

Guys. It's early days yet and people are blowing their nut like the windows closed. If we don't buy serious players in this window than blow as much as you like! God knows what's happening but I have a list of players in my head that would satisfy me and I'm sure most people have players in mind. Part of a managers job in my opinion is to satisfy its fan base and although buying these players could prove costly and potentially a complete waste of money (Torres, veron) the fans would be happy and at worse curse bad luck instead of turning against the club and each other. Wenger needs to think long and hard and I'm sure he is. He also wants to think about having some success in his last year and not go out on a whimper. If he or anyone else in the club think that the squad as is can win the league let alone the CL then they are seriously deluded.

I bet everyone thought the same when we signed Kolo, Anelka etc for peanuts or when Leicester City signed Riyad Mahrez from French second-tier side Le Havre.
I am not saying the guys a star but Wenger has said he is one for the future - don't let Raver wind you up,
We complain that other teams find gems then we moan when we try.

Yeah the assano deal doesn't bother me! We can't just only buy for the now we must maintain bringing youth in. And I was replying to the Arsenal boys above. 99% of the time I ignore raver.

The fact that the guy says he was massively surprised shows his expectations were quite low

Sanogo surely bringing in youth is 17 - 20 this guy is 21 and I expect someone to be showing huge promise and turning heads .
And let's be fair 'if' Wenger leaves how do you know what the new manager will think of this 'boy' lol
Of course Wenger could well still be here in 3 years time so it won't be an issue.
