I have to say as a Liverpool fan, is there a better assist maker in the game than ozil, if you get a world class striker latching on to his passess, and crosses then you guys will be going places, I can see why Ronaldo didn't want him to leave Madrid, when he lays chances on a plate like he does, btw we don't want Walcott or chamberlain but feel free to make a bid for bentenke as his agent has decided he should be playing for a London club.

Aup kingkenny, you're very right. It seems so wrong having Ozil and not having that 'world class striker' to put away a higher percentage of the chances he creates. It's almost like having a really good PC but missing one important component.

If you take Theo we will take Danny Sturridge off your hands :-)
Mesut is the best of the best when it comes to assists and I think we need to sign a proven goalscorer if we are to have any chance of keeping him this summer, there will be lots and lots of options open to him and we need to give him a reason to think he can win big prizes with us.

Kenny,

Can we have Coutinho please?

13 Jun 2016 18:21:24
We have enough in the treatment room g62. Just the cash please.

Fair comment Sanogo mate but at the right price I'd take a chance on Danny Sturridge, the recent injuries record isn't great at all but prior to the 2014 world cup his fitness rate was pretty average for the premier league, if he gets and makes 30 games a season the pay off might be 20 + PL goals a season as he's very capable of doing that.

13 Jun 2016 19:48:22
He is mate but there would be mutiny if he ever got injured.

13 Jun 2016 20:15:30
True but history is littered with such brave moves that paid off.
Gary Linikers reaction to Raneiri getting the Leicester job was " Raneiri, Really! "
All moves are Gamble's but Sturridge or Morata to be the man to finish off Ozils chances next season? I'd go for Danny and put my suit of armour on in readiness of the Rotten tomatoes headed my way and hope to come out of it covered in the sort of glory Leicester city were for appointing Raneiri.

13 Jun 2016 21:41:54
Erm I take it you're a Sturridge fan then G62? :)

13 Jun 2016 22:27:26
I am a bit perfect mate, I thought he had fantastic potential at city and I was shocked they let Chelsea have him and was disappointed we didn't even go for him before Liverpool did in January 2013, the boys a natural goal scorer just like Wrighty was and just what we need IMO. The injuries of the last 2 seasons are obviously a concern but I'd take a chance at 15 million or less especially if could involve a player who isn't doing it for us going the other way like Like Gibbs Theo Mertesacker ect.

13 Jun 2016 23:49:59
He is good and I rate sturidge. He has had Injuries other than the past two years. I like Danny and wouldn't put either of those two above him with all factors considered . Let's face it there are a handful of strikers that are proven and are better than what we got. Anyone else is going to be a gamble. But you never know in football, shevchenko, Torres and veron all arguably the best I there positions at the time and absolute flops when the big move was made,

14 Jun 2016 02:50:27
Agreed, G62 he definitely is a natural goalscorer.
