Hope Ozil stays as he is key to our balance in defence and attack.
Can't see why he would want to leave for Barcelona - the opportunity to play alongside Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez. Surely he would rather have Theo, Sanchez and Giroud?

At Barcelona he'll be winning the ball back in the most efficient manner possible then giving it to one of those 3.
He won't be essentially playing free as he does at arsenal.
At Barcelona youd assume he'd be replacing iniesta, and for me ozil is more Bergkamp 2.0 than iniesta 2.0.
Rakitic has done an amazing job of slotting into their midfield. Could easily see gundogan there above ozil.

Would we miss him if cazorla steps into number 10. Cazorla was class in that role it gives us. Coq and elneney with cazorla. Allowing the wide men more freedom.

Cazorla will only be a short term replacement if that was to happen. Isn't he 31? Not that I can see ozil leaving.

Caz replacing Mesut is like replacing a Rolls Royce with a BMW, both nice motors but there's no comparison between the two.
Mesut Sanchez Kos Belerin will all get vety good offers to leave this summer that's only natural because they're all excellent players, its up to Arsenal to make them want to stay I guess.

We don't have anyone to replace Ozil, just like DB10 TH14 and PV4. Never replaced
We need to keep him and build a team around him.

I agree he can't be replaced, but in case he leave, I think Goetze, Calhanoglu or Mkhitaryan can do a good job in that spot.

I think with Ozil's age compared to Cazorla's, we'll be wanting to keep Ozil with a hope of maybe Iwobi being his No. 10 understudy for the future - or buying somebody in to play second fiddle for now.
Really hope we keep all our best players and add some key additions (we all know the positions we need) even if we don't get rid of all the dead weight. Trying to talk about finances as little as possible, but i'm fairly sure we don't absolutely have to sell players before we can buy in.

Cazorla was thrviing here until ozil came. 12 prem goals as a number 10 decent.

I agree with Derby, I see Caz becoming the back up to Ozil in the no 10 role. I can't see Caz being strong enough to fill one of the two CM roles going forwards, his legs just won't last (plus hopefully were sign someone else for the CM role in the summer. That only leaves Caz as the number 10 for me. I think his experience as a CM would certainly help us in away games when perhaps we need a no 10 who could slip in alongside the two CMs to provide a bit more backbone.
